We use the following equipment in our skin care services:
Smooth peel (Candela): 2940 ER:YAG
This specialty LASER is designed to precisely remove the outer layer of the skin. Not only is
this less uncomfortable than other procedures such as chemical skin peel or dermabrasion,
but it has greater accuracy and less chance for scarring or uneven skin surface. This allows for
smoother skin helping to diminish acne scars and other blemishes.
Gentlemax (Candela): Gentlelase 755 nm Alexandrite and GentleYAG 1064 nm Nd:YAG
The Gentlemax provides two LASERs to allow the treatment of a variety of conditions for all skin types.
The alexandrite LASER is ideal for hair removal for most skin types. It is used for pigmented
lesion removal in light skin types.
The GentleYAG is designed to remove hair for dark skinned patients. This has added benefit to
treat pseudofolliculitis barbi. It is ideal for spider veins and skin tightening applications,
The Gentlemax has an integrated cooling system (DCP) for maximal patient comfort.
